14k Yellow Gold Art Deco Horace Welch Floating Opals Opal Screw Back Earrings

This pair of 1920's antique screw back earrings are made from 14k gold and have a iridescent opals slowly floating in glass. They are stamped 14k  on the side of the piece that curves under the ear and Pat. Pend. on the cap.  I had them listed last week, but forgot to mention the 14k and a wonderful ebayer emailed me to give me the info on the maker. They're about 1 1/8 inches long.  Excellent condition,
