    Description

    This listing is for one set of 2 kids'/toddlers'/children's playroom/dining/time-out chairs hand-painted & signed by local Portland, Oregon artist, Gretchen Wright. From her 2008 studio, these two vintage-construction chairs are a rare find, with matching (NOT identical & NOT sold separately) hand-painted brightly colored abstract floral designs. The quality in construction speaks to their original vintage assembly (70's?), but designs were added in her 2008 art studio, and now show some slight paint distortion/discoloration on one seat, and chips on a painted corner.  All blemishes are strictly cosmetic, and nothing has impacted function or form. Still standing evenly and without any rock/tilt/discomfort. They were sprayed with a protective coating to preserve creative designs. One chair is constructed of wood (Pine?), and the other is a classic vintage steel frame and plywood seat.  Very cute, neutral, non-binary colors, with sturdy weight, not too heavy for a toddler to move and not too light to easily tip.
