  • Condition: Condition:Not exactly sure how old it is-may be older than I have dated.In very nice condition with age related wear-cast iron body has some rust and some peeling paint. I did not attempt to clean besides just wiping away some storage dust-of which some still remains. There is also paint loss-which can be seen in pictures as well.Basket/bowl has bent edge with a split in metal-as can be seen in last photo.Measurements:APX: 16" x 14" with or without basket/bowlBasket: APX: 14.5" x 10"Piece weighs APX 15lbs.Please look at all photos closely and use your ZOOM.     This is a beautiful balance scale in forest green with gold accents, painted cast iron with a nice big metal removable  basket-bowl!
    It was taken out of an old apothecary and stored for the last 40 years!
    It's a wonderful display piece--so much can be done with it!
    This was used with weights, sadly they were not found with it....
    I believe this to be an English model based on the flag behind the name.....
