These earrings were skillfully handmade during the Georgian era

Damage
: Age appropriate wear. There is some wear to the gold leaf and areas where the gold appears to be missing from the wood. The sterling silver wire is coming out of its inlaid position in the wood in one area; this can easily be repaired by your local jeweler. There is also light oxidation in some areas on the gold. In addition, these earrings could use a gentle cleaning to remove grime in a few places. The price has been reduced to reflect this.

The History
The Georgian era is known for its hand-crafted designs, which were heavily influenced by world exploration. Between age and difficulty of acquirement, pieces from the Georgian era are amazing and rare historical finds.
