    Description

This is a limited edition signed and numbered aviation art print of a flight of English Hawker Hurricane Mark II's of the Eagle Squadron. The Eagle squadron was formed with North American volunteers who flew for the British before the USA's entry into WW-II. Many of them were young men from the United States who joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and were then posted to England. The original oil was painted by  award winning aviation artist David Schweitzer. A matching number certificate of authenticity is included with short histories of the Eagle Squadron, Hawker Hurricane, and Artist.
An interesting side note, although the Spitfire received most the Battle of
    Britain
press, Hurricanes flew in greater numbers and shot down more German planes than the Spitfires.
    The lithographic art
print, is on heavy 100# stock. and is approximately 18x24 Inches,   The artist signed print has been stored flat, never rolled however it will be shipped rolled in a tube (shipping .85) unless you request it to be shipped flat in a custom carton ready for immediate framing.
Flat shipping would be .00. If you wish flat shipping use ask "seller a
    question"
