DISNEY BEAUTY AND THE BEAST ENCHANTED ARMOIRE (WARDROBE) WOODEN MUSICAL JEWELRY BOX BY SCHMID (I COULDNT GET THE MUSIC TO PLAY).  Beauty and the Beast is a 1991 animated musical romantic fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures.  The 30th Disney animated feature film is based on the French fairy tale of the same name.  Beauty and the Beast focuses on the relationship between the Beast, a prince who is magically transformed into a monster, and his servants transformed into household objects as punishment for his arrogance.  Belle is a young woman whom he imprisons in his castle to become a prince again.  To break the curse, Beast must learn to love Belle and earn her love in return before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose or else the Beast will remain a monster forever.  This musical armoire was made in 1991 - the year of the original release of the movie.  The Wardrobe was a popular Character from Beauty and the Beast, who was a jovial and gregarious character.  She always speaks in a sweet tone and tries to find the upside to every situation.  However, she was also secretly depressed because the nature of her transformation meant she can't do her opera aspects as she's a wardrobe, and thus felt she was useless.  This is a hard-to-find Disney collectible.  This combination wooden Jewelry Box / Music Box captures the whimsical nature of the Wardrobe.  The three interior drawers are the perfect size for little jewelry pieces.  The 2 rotating hangers with 4 prongs each, hold bracelets and rings or other items.  Their appearance is enhanced by a large mirror behind the rotating hangers.  This is a well-constructed cabinet with brass hinges and carved handles.  This particular music box is very hard to come by.  It is approximately 11-1/2” high.  It is in new condition as it was never used or displayed-from a smoke & pet free home. On the back of the wardrobe, it has the Walt Disney Trademark, with a Schmid sticker.  What a gift for any Disney enthusiast who all have a special love for this iconic movie
