This is an incredible and very unique mammooth tooth. This specimen still has the fragile roots intact that are virtually never seen, though one has been glued back on. Very well preserved specimen with a nice wear pattern to the occlusal (chewing) surface. Pictures really do this one no justice - it is much nicer than it appears in the pictures. It has been coated with a preservative so it will be safe to handle for many years to come. It is a solid, heavy, and well mineralized tooth. Mammoth teeth of this quality are very rarely offered for sale. Mounted on a custom black steel display stand.
