Mammoth Hair Ice Age 10,000-30,000 Yrs Old Fossil Siberia Yakutia Vial Necklace
This is a vial style necklace on chain that contains ancient mammoth hair inside. The specimen is from Siberia Yakutia and is 10,000 to 30,000 years old. The vial hangs 2 1/2" from the ball style chain and is 11mm diameter. The top cap can screw off. The chain is 28" long (but could be shortened by snipping with metal snip). I placed a nice variety of Mammoth hair inside. There is some really heavy black strands and some finer lighter colors. This is ancient hair and is somewhat brittle. I don't suggest removing too much if any or it will eventually break into small sections. This stuff was dug from frozen tundra.
