    Description

    A huge, heavy iron weight for traditional Japanese / Asian scales. It has a  copper insert (photos 1- 3 ) where the government would certify the scale / weight was accurate.
    This is a rare size and would have been for a very large scale.
    It weighs 10 3/4 pounds (10 pound 11 ounces or 4.8 kilo)
    The body is 4 1/8 inches high with the top ear being another 1 1/4 inches high. (10.5 & 3 cm)
    The base is 3 17/8 inches across (10 cm)
