Tappit Motif Fondant Sugarcraft Cutters - Mixed Design and Pack Sizes
Tappit cutters are ideal for adding motifs, shapes or design to your cakes, cookies and cupcakes. Known as "tappit cutters" as you need to gently tap the flexible strip onto your board to gently remove the shape.
Tappit cutters typically create intricate designs which are made of fine material. We recommend using Mexican paste for best results in tappit cutters or alternatively you can use flower paste or modelling paste which has been left to dry slightly.
Instructions
Roll out your paste so it’s very thin (1 or 2mm)
Put some dust on your work surface to prevent the paste sticking.
Lay your tappit cutter over the rolled out paste and press it firmly down.
Gently rub the cutter up and down against the board to ensure it cuts cleanly through the past.
Gently tap the cutter on the board to remove the paste.
You should now have a perfectly formed shape. These are very delicate. Gently place the frill onto your cake.
