VINTAGE MARINE LAMP NAUTICAL SHIP LANTERNS RED GREEN GLOBE.
Up for Auction are 2 Nautical lanterns
( I am not an expert on lanterns at all, I know they are old. Please ask questions if there are any. I am trying to take decent pictures)
One green glass globe
One red glass globe
Each lantern is 10.5 inches tall
The bases are 4.5 inches wide
Each lantern was converted to electric. Electric Is working but extremely old.
The lanterns do not have brand or patent numbers
Each has a chimney that opens and second section that opens but hinges closed.
Green lantern hinge is broken.
I believe they are brass and inside looks like maybe copper.
I brushed off dust, but didn’t touch otherwise.
A magnet will not stick to them if that means anything.
The green lantern has a number 86 in 2 places
The red lantern has the number 54 in 2 placed
Green lantern has electric coming out of the bottom whereas red has electric coming out of chimneys
Apparently they were sold for 45 dollars each at one point. Stickers on bottom.
