Vintage Maritime Lantern BT Wilcox Crittenden & Co. Marine Lantern

Description

This is a beautiful maritime lantern with a brass top & tin frame. This has a very oddly shaped globe but it it a beautiful addition to this lantern. It is the original globe. The bottom says it was made in Middletown, Connecticut. This lantern was most likely used to light up docks. From the shape and build of it it seems to be at the very least 100 years old. It looks like it may have been produced in the 1800s however there is nothing to confirm this. This has been a part of the current owners collection for over 20 years.
