Vintage Maritime Perko Lantern

Description

This is a vintage maritime lantern. It is in great condition and is a very unique lantern. The lantern has "perko" embossed on the globe as well as the burner. This appears to be a very old lantern. It's frame is unlike any other lantern. The globe protectors are brass bars that are screwed in on the top and bottom. The globe is chipped but it blends in very well with the design of the globe so it is hard to see upon first glance. The globe chip/crack is pictured. This lantern was most likely used to light up docks. It is also a smaller Lantern (though still quite heavy) so it can be assumed it maybe was moved around quite frequently. This lantern has been a part of the current owners collection for over 20 years.
