    Description

    In this listing - a vintage weigh scale made by Penn Scale Mfg. Co. Philadelphia that came from a local general store.  The store operated from the early 1900's to the 1960's.  The scale seems to be in good shape - the needle moves freely when you pull down on the metal piece on the bottom where the tray would have been hung.  Overall the face is very clean and it has a nice look hanging on the wall.  I don't know if this ever had a glass over the face - there was none in it when I got it from the old store.  The diameter inside the metal bezal ring is 7 1/4" and the overall diameter across the scale face is 8 1/2".
