    Description

You are bidding on a couple of sheets of "Government Property" toilet paper, vintage World War 2 from Great Britain.
My father-in-law acquired these while on duty in WW2. The two sheets are still connected, and have the "Government Property" logo printed on each sheet along the bottom. along with a small square logo next to it.  I understand that over that time period different logos were used, along with different fonts and sizes used for the printing.
If you'd like to see what toilet paper was like back in the 1940's, this would be a great souvenir. The included pictures are the actual sheets you would receive. The fold marks were from the way the sheets were stored. The second connected sheet has a couple of small "coffee-like" stains, but other than that they are in pretty good shape considering they're about 75 years old now.
I would describe the texture of the sheets as being closer to tissue paper used in wrapping, as opposed to what we think of nowadays.
Feel free to ask any questions.. I'll try to help if I can.
    Thanks for looking, too.
